Volume weight
The volume of a shipment is calculated based on the length, height, and width of the consignment or its packages. The volumetric weight is determined by multiplying the calculated volume by the density factor.
Volume weight is applied to shipments that exceed:
- 6,000 cubic centimeters per kilogram.
- 366 cubic inches per kilogram.
- 166 cubic inches per pound.
Weight Subject to Charge
The weight subject to charge is the highest between the gross weight and the volume weight. The values shown in this calculator are approximate and the final value will be calculated once the cargo is received in our warehouse.
