How to implement eAWB with LATAM Cargo

Once quality standards are met, we move forward with the implementation through the following steps:

Verify compatibility: Ensure your cargo management system (CCS or proprietary platform) supports eAWB and that your company has signed the Multilateral Agreement (IATA eAWB Agreement).
Conduct testing: Send FWB/FHL test messages to validate system structure and compatibility.

How do I distinguish between digital and physical AWBs?
Use the code EAP for shipments with additional physical documents and EAW for fully electronic shipments.
How will I know if my message was processed?
You will receive a Functional Message Acknowledgment (FMA) when successfully processed, and a Functional Notification of Acknowledgment (FNA) if adjustments are needed.
